Good news that you are still developing the MP3 trigger. Thanks for that.

Firmware version 2.50 works great here, 192kbps playback is excellent  

from six different (brands) SDSC and SDHC memory cards.

BUT : the start-up problem is back (before the topic was called : No audio

at random start up).

So once in about fifty times there is no sound. LED behaviour is normal, solid on,  but

no sound. I get the impression that the first starting in the morning is the most likely

to go wrong. This happens with both kinds of memory card and with 192 and 160 kbps

files.

The project functioned without any problem during more than half a year, using

version 240e firmware, the start-up problem was certainly not present (but I could

only use 160 kbps files).

My question is : did anything change between 2.40e and 2.50 that can be the

cause of this annoyance ? (the same 160 kbps files and the same hardware function

with 2.40, and have this problem with 2.50)

And 192 kbps certainly sounds better than 160 kbps (listening to a 2.5 inch speaker)
