About

What the heck is this place?

I’m an embedded systems engineer and a guitar player. As the former, I’ve worked primarily in the entertainment and audio industry, designing theme park control systems and products used by musicians and recording engineers. As the latter, I’ve always pushed the technical boundaries even though my primary instrument is acoustic guitar – I’m definitely not a purist. Finally, I’m a maker. I love to build stuff. If it involves electronics and music or art, so much the better.

Based on the theory that no man is an island, this site reflects my particular mix of interests. My hope is that it becomes a place where people of similar interests come to find answers, inspiration, tips, things to do with their kids, stuff… But we’ll see. Things like this have to grow organically.
